Patrick Struebi is a social entrepreneur, thought leader, and founder and CEO of Fairtrasa, a global social enterprise empowering small-scale farmers to lift themselves out of poverty. Patrick founded Fairtrasa in Mexico after a personal epiphany inspired him to leave a successful corporate career in Switzerland and devote himself to impactful business. For his work with Fairtrasa, he has been selected an Ashoka Fellow, an Endeavor Entrepreneur, a Yale World Fellow, and a Schwab Fellow, and has been named Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the Schwab Foundation, the abc* Foundation, Univision, and Visionaris. In 2014, he was named a New Champion by the World Economic Forum. He is the Social Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Yale University, an Adjunct Professor and Gabelli Fellow at Fordham University, and a member of the Clinton Global Initiative.
