Marco van den Berg is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Los Banos, Philippines. He has a background in database and network technology and is an information technology professional with private and public sector experience. Marco is active in CGIAR IT leadership roles and is the overall project manager for ERP systems. He is a self-professed “recovering software engineer”.
