Making Exploratory Data Analysis More Accessible Through Interactive Visualization
The Evans Policy Analysis and Research Group (EPAR) exhibit will feature an interactive data visualization tool created for the World Bank’s Living Standards Measurement Study-Integrated Surveys on Agriculture (LSMS-ISA), a publicly available household panel survey dataset for seven countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. We will highlight the uses of this rich data source for agriculture, and demonstrate through our own work with this data how it is possible to make any complex open dataset accessible to a range of audiences using data exploration technology, including open-source technology.
